Training Focus March 2017

Universal Credit Awareness Sessions

Universal Credit is set to roll out in Northern Ireland from September 2017. To support the advice and voluntary sector with this Advice NI will be offering FREE Universal Credit Awareness Sessions from the 1st of April 2017. These will be FREE to non-council funded advisers, specialist advisers and others working with people who will be affected by Welfare Reform.

The Universal Credit sessions follow on from the successful delivery of the general Welfare Reform Awareness Sessions that have been available since October 2016. We have delivered these sessions to over 600 people to date with excellent feedback in relation to all aspects of the training and the desired impact of raising the awareness of welfare reform and confidence of those working with it.
