Supporting Active Engagement Graduations

Congratulations to our 106 graduates who successfully completed the Right for Seniors Digital Course! We are so proud of your achievement and wish you all the best in your safe and confident digital journey!

Advice NI’s Supporting Active Engagement project continues to provide digital training to older people to enable them to access online information on their rights and entitlements.

In the last six months the Internet Champion Tutor volunteers have successfully delivered 10 Rights4Seniors Digital courses to 106 older people in folds and community organisations. Each course lasts 10 weeks and covers various units on hardware and software, including internet searching, using email and social media as well as how to make complaints online. A course participant thanked our tutor for his patience and commitment:

’Our tutor is so patient, he is so good. My husband is really good with computers too, but doesn’t have the patience to teach me. He is very impressed with how much I have learned’.

A big thank you to scheme coordinators, community workers and to our committed team of volunteers for their continued support and commitment to their students and Advice NI. Congratulations to All!
