Reminder -TV Licencing now taking referrals for Simple Payment Plans

The Simple Payment Plan trial is  open for sign up. I want to remind you of the essential information mentioned previously.

This plan is designed for those who are most struggling to pay. For your purposes, it is important to note that anyone that you (as an organisation listed in the regulations) refer to the Simple Payment Plan will be able to sign up. One of the eligibility criteria is indeed people who have sought advice from a debt advice charity listed in the regulations. - You must give the charity code DCHAR to your client and they must sign up by phone. - Licensed clients will first have to cancel their existing plan, by calling 0300 790 6071 and quoting DCHAR. Then, 24 hours later, your client can call the Simple Payment Plan dedicated line on 0300 555 0510 (or to speak to an adviser in Welsh: 0300 300 1030) quoting DCHAR to set up their new Simple Payment Plan. - Unlicensed clients will simply need to call the Simple Payment Plan dedicated line 0300 555 0510 quoting DCHAR - When signing up, your client will be asked which organisation has referred them, for monitoring purposes. - Your organisation might also get calls from organisations not listed in the regulations, asking you to refer one of their clients to the Simple Payment Plan. A dedicated Simple payment Plan website is up and running for clients to review past payments, make ones that are due, view their TV Licence, and find the answers to any questions they may have.
