Why volunteer with Advice NI?

Volunteers play a vital role in how we deliver our services and the time you give will provide help to those that need it most.

By becoming an Advice NI volunteer you will:

You will receive full training so you have all the skills and knowledge you need to carry out your role. Becoming an Advice NI volunteer also means that you get access to our award winning training programme.

Volunteer Roles

We currently have five exciting volunteer roles available at Advice NI ranging from admin help, assisting with policy work to teaching over 55's how to get online.

  • Administrator

    To provide general administration support to the Advice NI team.

    Digital Skills Volunteer

    To facilitate and assist in the delivery of digital skills courses, specifically for adult beginners.

  • Internet Champion

    To help promote digital inclusion by assisting over 55's to access the internet via a 10 week training course.

  • Policy and Research Officer

    to research and review past, present and future social policy to maintain quality assurance.

  • Receptionist

    To act as the first point of contact for the public who want to access our services.

  • Advice in person

    Welfare Rights Adviser

    To provide high quality up-to-date advice on benefits, debt, housing, employment and consumer matters.
