Wiseradviser: Effectively Challenging Utility Debt

Due to the recent developments with COVID-19 this course will now run via the online Zoom platform instead of face to face. This is a skilled level training course on money advice. This course focuses on the area of Public and Private Utility Providers, specific to Northern Ireland ONLY. It outlines the Utility Services available and the process of debt recovery by Providers. This course will enable trainees to advise their clients regarding their rights and responsibilities under the relevant gas, electricity and telecommunications legislation. This course will also examine rates in Northern Ireland. Course Objectives: This course will enable you to; •Understand the codes of practice of utility providers in own region •Understand the roles and powers of regulatory and statutory bodies. •Understand the process of dealing with utility debt
