Nutshell: Universal Credit and the Self Employed

We have a selection of Welfare Reform sessions suitable for those who have already benefited from our Welfare Reform training and wish to update their knowledge in a timely and cost effective manner or for those who just need information on a specific aspect of Welfare Reform. Location: All of our Welfare Reform in a Nutshell Sessions are 90 minutes in length and delivered at Advice NI Offices in Belfast. Bespoke/in-house training options are available for those wishing to access the course at an alternative date/time/location. Please see ‘Bespoke Training’ section. £15 Members/£20 Voluntary and Community Sector/£30 Private and Statutory Sector. This session will explain in detail how self-employed income is treated by Universal Credit and will include information on The Minimum Income Floor, Monthly Accounting, Start-up Periods and Conditionality Issues which might impact upon the self-employed.
