Challenging Universal Credit Decisions

This session will look at how decisions are made , what mandatory reconsideration is and what direct lodgement means for a client’s rights to appeal. It will explain the new process for challenging a case in relation to clients conditionality, the work capability assessment and sanctions.

Fees: £80 members/£100 Voluntary and Community Sector/£120 Private and Statutory Sector We will invoice you for the course. Please note a late cancellation fee will apply to courses cancelled with less than 5 working days’ notice. Cancellation Policy Booked courses which are cancelled within 5 working days of the course start date will not be invoiced. Booked courses cancelled with less than 5 working days’ notice will be invoiced at a fee of £30 or 50% of the course fee, whichever is higher. Participants booked on FREE training who do not show up on the day, or do not cancel with at least 5 working days’ notice, will be charged a fee of £30.
