The last 22 months have been extremely difficult for many families in Northern Ireland so Advice NI’s Benefits services is needed now more than ever. The team have dealt with more than 7,500 enquires since April this year alone.
As always, Advice NI’s dedicated advisers are committed to helping everyone contacting the helpline. Unfortunately we are expecting to see our numbers increase as the cost of living here increase, coupled with soaring energy prices and the removal of the £20 Universal Credit uplift.
Below is an example of just how effective it can be to contact Advice NI for help.
A client contacted Advice NI for help appealing her PIP decision. With guidance from an adviser the client won her appeal. Not only that but it was backdated awarding her £19,000.
