Suspension of Universal Credit Minimum Income Floor extended

Advice NI welcomes the decision by Dr Thérèse Coffey to extend the suspension of Universal Credit Minimum Income Floor for self employed claimants.

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions announced that the suspension which was due to end on 12th November 2020 has been extended to the the end of April 2021. This will be an enormous relief for self employed people who have seen their livelihoods destroyed during the pandemic.
