Generalist Adviser vacancy at Community Advice Banbridge

The post holder will provide free, confidential, impartial and independent generalist advice to clients in person, by telephone and email, and provide cover for Outreach, Home Visits, and Information Sessions if required.

Applicants must have successfully completed a recognised adviser training programme e.g. Certificate in Generalist Advice, or Adviser Training Programme provided by Citizens Advice, Law Centre NI or Advice NI, and have a minimum of 1 year's full-time experience, or the equivalent part-time, gained within the last two years of delivering generalist advice to the public in a social welfare context.

Job Title: Generalist Adviser
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: NJC Scale 5, points 12 – 17, £24,496 - £26,845 pro rata, commensurate with experience
Responsible to: Service Manager
