Falls Community Council Moves Into New Premises

The Falls Community council move into their new premises at St Comgalls and launch their community enterprise by hosting high class office space as well as world class conference and event space.

St Comgall-Ionad Eileen Howell is a community enterprise that offers office accommodation to fit modern, dynamic occupiers. Refurbished to the uppermost standards, St Comgalls affords a multi-purpose facility to include office accommodation, function/conference hall, opening out onto a restored central courtyard. The accommodation also provides for a permanent visitor attraction outlining the history of the local area and a café and information point creating a vibrant energetic atmosphere for the user.

The Falls Community Council is a community resource centre for individualand groups in West Belfast and is dedicated to improving the lives and well-being of the entire West Belfast community through programmes, initiatives and assistance. 

The Falls Community Council seek to build a resilient and empowered community in West Belfast, harnessing and enhancing the existing wonderful community spirt in the west of the city. 

They offer a range of services and programmes created and maintained to assist the community, including help and advise on education, housing, benefit entitlement and employment. 

They also have a range of services including alcohol and drug abuse, community safety initiatives and social enterprise. 

The Falls Community Council also has a range of programmes on cultural awareness, conflict resolution and good community relations. Their conflict transformation programmes work with all sections of our community to build on the foundations of the peace process.
