Advice NI has developed an interactive multi-lingual e-Learning Tax Credit toolkit designed to help increase your knowledge, skills and confidence on Tax Credit issues.

The course is aimed at anyone who has little or no knowledge of Tax Credits.

The course covers: -

  • An introduction to the Tax Credit system
  • An introduction to entitlement rules
  • A summary of how changes in circumstances may effect entitlement
  • An introduction to overpayments

By the end of the course you should: -

  • Have an understanding of the Tax Credits system
  • Have an awareness of the main entitlement rules and how to claim
  • Be able to grasp how changes of circumstances can effect entitlement
  • Have a broad understanding of how overpayments can arise

The course is available is English, Polish, Lithuanian, Latvian, Chinese, Spanish and Portuguese.
