NVQ

Advice NI is an Open University Assessment Centre for National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) in [PDF] Advice & Guidance, Customer Service and the Assessor and Verifier Awards.

Advice NI offers the NVQ in Advice & Guidance via face-to-face workshops or online through its virtual learning environment, LearningOnline.

If you work or volunteer in an advice and guidance setting and are interested in any of the qualifications listed below email one of our Internal Verifiers Fiona Magee or Dominic Sharvin or call them on 028 9064 5919.

If you wish to register for one of our NVQs please complete an [DOC] NVQ registration form and post it to Dominic Sharvin, Advice NI, 1 Rushfield Avenue, Belfast, BT7 3FP.

E-Quals Project

E-Quals, funded by Proteus, is a partnership project between Advice NI and National Energy Action empowering 20 advice & guidance workers to be local champions in informing and advising people on becoming more energy efficient, how to cope with increasing fuel prices and change behaviours. The project has taken a unique blended learning approach to vocational qualifications, using both e-learning and face-to-face workshops, at the end of which the champion learners will have achieved 3 accredited qualifications;

• City and Guilds 6176 Energy Awareness Training Qualification
• NVQ in Advice and Guidance Level 2-4
• Us and Them Training

The Deputy Lord Mayor, Bernie Kelly, presented certificates to advice & guidance workers participating in Advice NI's E-Quals project at Advice NI's annual Celebration of Achievement.
